promissing start then as soon as we had a few injuries to senior players with the small squad we have we struggled. our big loss of players are nick williams and tom james . we have to small a aquad few injuries and thats it
We have had some great results this season and some poor performances. A small squad is find but when you get a lot of international callups and a bad run of injuries some of them freak accidents then you suffer. We are carrying a few players who are coming to the end of their contracts and can't really be that effective for us. We are in transition of a three year plan and we are better in many areas than last year but when we are not fully loaded then injuries can cost us.
The team are full of heart though and a lot of the time they have been a pleasure to watch.
I agree entirely with last posting. Having a small squad is fine if have no injuries or international call ups. I said when Danny Wilson said he wanted a smaller better quality squad that he had better cross his fingers. It is notable that Ospreys have players of the likes of Bearman and Leonard they can drag out when they are in similar situation to us
