Eddie Jones to turn to Martin Johnson as England coach bids to repeat 2003 Rugby World Cup heroics

Eddie Jones has revealed he wants to increasingly tap into the experience of England’s 2003 World Cup winners, including former captain and manager Martin Johnson, as part of his mission to repeat their triumph at the tournament in Japan in 2019.

Jones has already involved Jonny Wilkinson and Will Greenwood in training sessions and appointed Richard Hill as his team manager in September last year.

Just love Eddie’s approach! He reminds me in many ways of Clive in the couple of years before 2003. We aren’t following or copying anyone, we are building our own brand of excellence.
