Old Prop Steve
I heartily agree that a few Councillors are talking "Flatulent Waffle". I do not agree that we should stop talking about it.
Without us talking & keeping up the pressure, how else did we get 16,00 signatures?, the Flatulent wafflers would have got their way in helping keep Cornwall in the dark ages.
Without talking about a stadium there is little point talking about play offs in the future, which is where the club say they are focussed. Next season Rodney.....
I can assure you 16,000 signatures has had an immense impact within the Council. Bert Biscoe wants the ground near Newquay Airport, yet doesn't want it near Truro airstrip. Odd that isn't it.
John Dyer of Kenwyn Council talks of old people from Manchester living in the housing then denies saying it but is contradicted by his own Council. Odd to say the least. What are we expected to believe?
Several readers of this site wrote to the West Briton this week but only four letters were published. Odd isn't it?
Keep up the pressure. Talk to your Councillor and ask her/his stance. If they are against a boost to the economy and increased employment ask them why?
