Another exciting nail biter. Ams were comfortably ahead but allowed Tavistock back into the game and the score was 29 all with a couple of minutes to go. Tavistock got close to wining the game, but the Ams scored a lovely try with the last play of the game. Good effort from a young team (except for the evergreen Steve Evans!). Nice to see a face from the past watching the game - former Pirates player and coach, Kevin Moseley.

Absolutely, Ben - the start of the season was very difficult, but a few old heads have returned to steady the ship - the most influential being Steve Evans, who is such a great influence over the youngsters who are now developing and finding their feet in senior rugby.
