Cormac. A short-wheelbase Landrover, two Cornish shovels and a roll of gaffer tape.
Wasn't Denzil Penberthy available?

Cormac you say? It'll be one man doing all the work while six others stand around drinking tea and watching.

Hope there are penalties in place for late delivery of the works. And why Cormac? Are they not part of Cornwall Council? The organisation that delayed the Stadium? Baffles me

Moseley and Jersey supporters posted on the Rolling Maul forum that they would like to buy a Brick to raise funds for the S4C. Moseley raised a substantial funding for their "Wall".

Lovely gesture by those fans - shows the true spirit of rugby. This has to be something we need to do.

A lot of the Section 106 agreements which form part of the planning decisions in Cornwall award the groundwork's to Cormac. It doesn't seem fair but its the system that we are stuck with.

A great idea ispy/Stalwart for those that couldn't afford large amounts, re shares a few years ago.
Bricks at twenty or thirty pounds a pop would give supporters a piece of pride in the new Stadium at an affordable price.

Chairman Paul Durkin was interviewed on radio Cornwall at lunchtime. We are still waiting for the completion of the legal document to transfer the stadium land from Inox to the Pirates via the Council. In the meantime the site investigation will commence next week as planned. The completion date is looking more likely to be January 2020.

Does this mean that we will be playing at the Menaye for another season, or are we going to have to find an alternative home ground for the first half of the 2019-20 season.

I doubt that we will have to move from the Mennaye until the stadium is ready as the lease is held by Penzance & Newlyn RFC.

I left the Duchy nearly thirty years ago so I know little about CORMAC but from what I am reading on here I am not impressed.
They sound like the last thing this already protracted process needs.

Cormac; building solutions for the 17th Century.
S4C with cobb walls and thatched roofs.
Plenty of room to park your horse, mind.

I thought there was a raffle to be the first person to cut a sod on site, maybe drilling doesn't count!

We have waited so long for this - seeing diggers in there (even if it's only preliminary investigations) is amazing.

Have been away for the past few weeks and just catching up with all the news. It is fantastic after so many delays that people are on site irrespective of what ever company and making a start and looking forward to the day when the county has a stadium at long last. Again many thanks to all those behind the scenes.
