Pirates Ams play Lanner on Saturday (9th) on The Mennaye. KO is 2pm.
Important game as Lanner are just one place below The Ams and both will be keen to move further out of the relegation scrap.
If you can't get to Richmond come and support the local lads.

Very tense game with both sides needing the win. Lanner were much more experienced, especially in the forwards, and Ams struggled at scrum time with several first choice front rowers absent. Despite Lanner dominating territory and possession The Ams looked dangerous with ball in hand and scored two good tries to go 14-0 ahead. Lanner's heavier pack began to apply a lot of pressure and they eventually got back into the game and equalised with a contentious penalty try. Lanner then got in front with a try that appeared to come from a forward pass, but The Ams really stuck to their task and got a penalty to tie it up at 17 all. A breakaway looked like giving Lanner the lead again, but a brilliant chase and try saving tackle by Daniel-Rees Evans saved the day. In the last few minutes Lanner were battering the Ams line, but determined defence kept them out and a break out by substitute, Pirates legend Steve Evans (Daniel-Rees's dad) saw them go from defence to attack, get field position and eventually moving the ball through the backs for Evans Jnr to score the winning try. Final score 22-17. I was told that every player who started today's game for The Ams had come through The PZ and N Mini/Junior section - which is what it's all about. Two Pirates wins today - happy days.
