Best of luck Pete. Pity it has to be such a long trip (done a few aways to S.E. London and it's never easy).

Some good old Cov names in the 'staff' list there. Cov could use one of them in particular next season - mentioning no names (Sm14)

Result - Kent 33 Warwickshire 27 - after extra time.

A superb game of rugby and a great advertisment for County Championship rugby.

Warwicks were at one point leading 27-10 but gave a way a soft try with two minutes to go to take the game into extra time.

The whole squad have played with commitment and spirit and deserve congratulations for their acheivements.

Perhaps we may get some Cov players next year in the top tier of the County Championship - playing Cheshire, Lancashire and Yoprkshire.

As you well know COV players (qualified for WRFU) can be selected from next season. I hope that the club will help this as rugby in this county needs strengthening. On the point of club recruitment I hope that the club have had scouts out at the plate games to see the talent on show. Well done to Warwickshire on the achievement of promotion. It is sad to see no mention of the county championship in many areas these days. Even hotbeds of the game have turned against this format.

To all players, staff and officials well done.
