Who really cases about the 6N this season after England's inept performance?

They have a bigger problem with Plymouth v Rosslyn Park, as they are having to extend the season into May for them. If they hadn't used the 17th March half the other clubs would also have over-run, with the consequent problems of players on holiday / out of contract / out of insurance.

It's is common sense to have a rule that says you rearrange fixtures for the first available Saturday, because it stops teams trying to pick and choose and possibly delay a fixture to get players fit. If the weather had been different there might have been no matches on the 17th March, the original intention was to try and keep it blank. However needs must.

I didn't care before England's recent capitulation.

Those of us who are not "fairweather" supporters and those of us who care about the health of the game that pays some of the bills right down to grass roots. And who mentioned England?

That's a pretty daft comment old nick. Would you stop watching Cov after our 'inept' performance at Blackheath this season!. I am certainly a club man and have seen you at all our away games this season but there is nothing wrong in following your national team and the gate will be lower because some will stay away and watch the climax of the six nations. There is life outside the lens and while I admire your passion for Cov you must recognise the importance of England rugby and as Duckham w on w points out the kudos it brings to the game. Cov for one will need it next season in our quest to survive both on and off the pitch!.

Don't miss many home or away matches, but unfortunately we have an overdue Christmas present of a steam train away day and will be passing by Caldy, but not when the game is on.
