Look forward to it. It will be interesting also to understand what 'full time' looks like at Cov Rugby. I think I am right in saying that this was the plan for when the championship was reached.

No I don't think full time rugby is the plan! I think there is is a period of transition planned to full time rugby. The Doncaster forum suggests we have three of their players due to part time rugby and the influence of Makaafi.

Championship teams seem to be pulling away from full time?

Depends what you call full-time I guess. We already have quite a few involved with the club (on outreach type programmes) as their full-time jobs, I think.
Happy to be disabused.

I think it’s good to have this next fans forum explaining how things will work going forward. The coaches and club directors have had a few months to work on this. I’m guessing it will be a pretty much professional outfit for the first year with the flexibility to go semi-pro as soon as Cov are established in the Championship. Whatever happens I am looking forward to some great rugby next season. By all accounts it has been a forwards game of late but I would love Cov to turn that around. On to Ampthill & District!
