How other clubs see us

Fascinating reading posts on other club fan groups.
The Donny Knights chat was particularly illuminating, following our signings of the Bulumakau brothers and Jack Ram from Doncaster.
One poster wrote: It's a big loss to the club, I bet the fact that Coventry is part time and that Latuuuu Makaafi is there was paramount in their decision. Good luck boys but don't forget to have 'butter fingers' when you play the Knights.
I wonder if Coventry Blues are going to be renamed K'oventree Bloos or similar?! (They could get sponsorship by a certain toilet cleaner!

The response from the webmaster: I don't think Cov' have ever been part time? They were the other fully pro club when we were in National One and have been building big the last couple of seasons with Luke Narraway and Phil Nilssen joining Latu there this year amongst a host of other familiar looking names. They've been chalking up 50 point wins regularly this season.
I think they're hitting the Championship with some ambition and motivation after a spell out and with a decent home crowd (and very partisan too) they will be ones to keep an eye on next year.
I think Ram may have hoped for a top flight look in but getting further south may be helpful in this ambition?
The Bulamakau's don't command regular first XV slots at Donny and you can't keep everybody. I like the pair of them but Owen/Clark is the first choice midfield and any combination of Lewis/Wilson/Flockhart have been preferred on the wings and so you win some and you lose some!
