With our long standing friends from Bedford coming this weekend. It certainly brings back memories, the home game where Don King, boxing promoter was a sponsor for Cov against his boxing rival who ran Bedford at the time. The game that nearly didnt get played because of a certain A.Green ruining the club and nearly plunging it into ignomy. Instead the game took place at the Ricoh. Another game where finances were to the forefront , losing to Bedford by over 70 points at goldington rd and players not receiving wages.

Let's not drown in the mud of our past. Looking forward to a good, honest, tight game of rugby, with a few lessons learnt from last week.

Think he might be referring to Jake Sharp , Kimbo. Just a thought. Loved your ironic sense of humour though.
