Big blow to lose Stevens, Stokes and Halaifinoua. No Latu either.
Any idea on the extent of Stokes or DH ankle injuries?

James was pulling a sled around last night, so not too bad - probably just down the quicker turnaround between games. DH not so sure, but he was running as well, so probably ok for next week as well.

Latu - can't get in the side....

Thanks Sam that sounds positive on both!

interesting call by winter to bench maisy ,especially when 3 first choice this season backs out injured. perhaps tactical to allow maisy to cover for injuries during the game across the back line.who will be the goal kicker tomorrow-fenner?
expect a very tough game. cov need to have the determination they had against jersey, cut out the mistakes and keep the penalty count down and hey presto we may win!
good luck cov.

3 of our best backs out including our two most potent attacking players so we are going to have play outstandingly well up front to win.,good pack and looking forward to seeing if Nutley brings his prem ability and pedigree from 8 tomorrow..fringe backs to step up too although Fenner out of position at 15 is not great although he is playing v well this year. Just lacks great pace. Sharp at 10 is a big call as had been said. He looks unfit but must be better than he has shown so far so letís see his skills tomorrow against his former team

I think some of it is rotation and giving players a breather even if it is to the bench. Sharp will really only get fitter by playing. You need a squad in this league not just a good XV. There is also the non English players rule to conjure with.

A strong side for some strong opposition, could be a cracker. C'MON COV.
