Due to the dire league position Hartpury are in, as well as a desperate injury crisis.Wayne Shelford d.o.r. at Bristol has given them 5 players , allowing his fringe players to get game time while the fixtures are quiet for their 1st and 2nd team.

Does this mean that Hartpury’s links with Gloucester have now ceased and that they are not any more effectively a Gloucester “B” team?

Gloucester still train at Hartpury, but they seem to not be attempting to manupulate the Championship is quite such a blatant way as Bristol. Cindergord are once mpore benefitting from their loans.

Interesting to see whether these guys can inspire a rise up the league table, as happened with Yks Carnegie. The difference being that Carnegie had around twice as many arrivals towards the end of 2018, and they had a chance to bed in during the Ch'ship Cup; we'll find out tomorrow how many of these guys will go straight into action.

If Hartpury can't get a win this month (home to Richmond after the Cov game) they may have too much to do in March/April...
