Look forward to meeting the invaders. I think many of you will have seen our page for visiting supporters, but just in case...

https://www.jerseyreds.je/the-club/information-for-visiting-supporters-(201819).aspx

A few things to emphasise:

Friday - we're open from 5.30 to 7.30 for the official 'warm-up' - marquee bar open + some complimentary (mainly fried) nosh. There are number 9 buses back to St Helier from outside at 6.44 and 7.33

Tickets -
these cost £19 on match-day (cash only at the gate), but you can get them for £15 (+ 105p booking fee) if you book online by 3pm Thursday

Saturday - the ground will open at 10.30am ahead of the 2nd team game at 12noon

Was anyone coming by ferry on Saturday? I hope not! Hundreds of young players and supporters from Guernsey were due to come over for the Junior Siam Cup games (u7- u18) but that's been canned...

The forecast for game-day is sunny periods and showers, but with that F6 wind that's caused the boat cancellations

Several on our flight out of Birmingham at lunchtime got stung £50 for oversized bags. No leeway at all..
Lots of Cov supporters already in St Helier, called in at the ground on leaving the airport, very welcoming and friendly, looks a great place to play rugby.
Looking forward to seeing Sam, Phil and Latu playing in the first game, kicking off at 12.00.
Also notice Jubby in the team as well, hope its not his swansong, but fear it maybe.
Think weíll get a taxi to the game so we can sample the local brew, revert to driving Sunday.

2 mitigating circumstances your honour, it was in the early 1970's and I was with a Geordie, so I plead insanity.....or not guilty.

Great to welcome a very decent contingent of Cov supporters tonight...smileys with beer

Nick's quoted the No9 above, which is the quickest route and stops nearest to the ground. If any of those are full, or you're between buses, then route 22 stops at the Aero Club (1 min walk from ground) or the 15 (Airport) bus stops at the Mermaid and it's 5-6 mins walk...

Look forward to tomorrow, here's the link to our online programme:
