The Herald tells us that a win this weekend should be enough to see us stay in the land of milk and honey

Plymouth Albion out to secure their place in the Championship

but unless my calculator is broken I think we still need 7 points to guarentee Championship rugby next season. I don't think Esher will get 15 points in their last 3 matches but stranger things have happened, and I for one would prefer not to rely on points difference.

As the article says it does depend on whether Esher win or lose on Saturday, but the point is if both results go our way then we are safe.

I think not being the "Second Worst Team in The Championship" would be a fillip for everyone concerned with Albion - even if there's not much less kudos than being the "Fourth Worst Team in The Championship"!
