Well I am coming to the end of fourteen seasons watching Chiefs and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I has a close association with Sale up north but never became excited as I have watching Chiefs. But all good things come to an end and Mrs Hawkeye and I are set to move back north and will from next season use the monica of Big Chief Cheshire Cheese. However I intend to watch at least eight away games and get to at least two home game when we will take up residence at the Blue Ball.

I will of course watch a few Sale and Wasps games but the excitement will always be with Chiefs. It has been an incredible journey from smelly toilets, old chip fat and splintering bench seats in the old stand through to Sandy Park. I had season tickets but changed them to a Gold Card when we moved to SP. I told Mr Bremner what I thought of him and asked Rob to resign a hour before we appointed him. I got one of those two right and one wrong but that's what its all about.

One last wish would be to see Chiefs win at HQ before I depart Devon in the summer; oh and I'd like to see Jack score the try that wins the series for the Lions so I don't really wants much as a parting gift. Finally if some of my comments on here have upset you over the years I need you to know its all part of the fun and I don't apologise one jot.

Thank you one and all.

Good luck up north - there's nothing quite like Cheshire architecture.
