What do you know about the Sandy Park pitch?

So we know the pitch is a mixture of grass and plastic. But how do you maintain that?

Tuesday 17th October at Sandy Park


There will also be a talk by Nigel Walrond( Author of the new Chiefs book - Road to Glory: The Inside Story )

The evening starts at

7:00 pm Exeter Chiefs Supporters' Club AGM (members only).

7.45 pm Talk by Adrian Witton ( Chiefs' Groundsman)

8.15 pm Talk by Nigel Walrond (BBC Sports).

The talks from 7:45 pm are free and open to everyone.

Unsurprisingly Adrian laughed at the suggestion during his talk that was both enlightening and entertaining. A small and dedicated team does an excellent and varied job in maintaining not just the ground but all the other facilities.

Takes more than a ton of grass clippings off the pitch with the walking mowers up to three times a week in the summer!
