Don't be sorry Lowerwatha, I had forgotten him in that game, is that the game Tom Youngs had problems with the lineout? I think Slade played in the Uruguay with Ford and Farrell after Burgess and Barrett played the game before. Then played in Argentina with four or so fly halfs.

Slade, William and Simmond kept in a 25 for next weekend. Hope big Harry starts, Cole does not need the experience in a friendly.

Can't wait to see Ewers, Armand and Simmmond together in the backrow

You could construct an argument that Slade made look Burgess good enough to pick, and therefore he was indirectly responsible for Eddie Jones. Repay the favour EJ!

IMO Burgess *was* good enough to be picked. He was a convenient scapegoat but the WC wasn't his fault. Particularly relevant at this point as Slade's taken a lot of flack for the Argentina game when there was a lack of cohesion across the board.

Henry has done fine but needs ball at pace and in space.

I think his best position is at 13 as England have fliers out wide and he offers a 3rd kicking option if EJ continues with Ford-Farrell all of whom are footballers.

What impresses me is his defence - I was at Welford when he put Manu on his ass every time and without drama - few players do that - not even the much vaunted NZ midfield who were intimidated by him.

Lozowski is a good player with perhaps more pace is perhaps a more natural 10 but EJ already has Ford-Farrell and he's not going to compromise that.

I'd like to know where Henry wants to play, as come contract renewal time, that may be key?

Maybe he could be Dollmans long term replacement at fullback, he would have that bit of time and space that he likes for his heads up rugby, and his all round game?
