It may be they have knocks? Never known our coaching team take a Prem game too lightly.

Only Atkins is a lineout jumper.

Line out may be weaker but Kvesic had improved to his potential again in recent matches.
So no worries there, and Ewers has got stronger every minute he's back.
We have such strength in depth, and we are on a plastic pitch so any twitches in the knee area, and Rob will not risk it.
There is also a case of giving those with the broadest shoulders a break sometime.

Rob has been open, even outspoken, on the need to give players a proper rest over the season. It's not taking an opponent lightly if you leave some players out now to ensure they are fit later on. Pretty sure it will have been a difficult but necessary decision, but also one based on confidence in the depth of talent in the squad.

I don't think the game will be taken lightly but is there a concern that there are perhaps a few too many changes. It is almost an entirely new starting pack to last week, and there is no Nowell, Slade, Cowan-Dickie, Williams, Armand or Waldrom in the starting team.. that is some amount of quality.. let alone Skinner who has been possibly our best player in the last few games.

Hopefully we might start to see the likes of Campagnaro and van der Sluys etc back from injury and given some game time soon.

Hill and Armannd have played a hell of a lot they need a break particularly with 2 big European games coming up
We are fighting on 3 fronts and need to utilise the squad
All players train to fit into the Chiefs style of play.

Nowell - Ankle, LCD- Hip, Williams - Concussion, Skinner- Broken Hand so none are able to play.
Slade and Tank on the bench, Armand given break which given his work load of last weeks u can understand and J.Hill with big game next Saturday you can see why he maybe isnt risked.
Only my thoughts.
See any travelling Tribe at the game on Sunday. Already up here for weekend.

Don looked to tweak his knee last week mid match. Noticeable limp after the ruck, but ran it off.
Wouldn't be surprised if he is given a week off from the 4G, to be sure it is OK.

Yenz has hopefully got his darts sorted, as there will be a bit of pressure on the lineout

We have a fantastic squad, and it is right to rest some players and bring others in.

I thought last week we didn't compete at the breakdown, and we need to slow some teams down. Kevesic is great at the breakdown and has greatly improved his carrying game. With him, big Dave and Simmo, that is a fantastic back row.

Mitch Lees was a must have in the 2nd row last year, and Ollie Atkins was I thought similar to Sam Skinner, having great potential, which playing experience will bring.

Big Tom and Heps at prop, and Jack Y, aslong as the throws are OK, is a strong front row.

Shorty for Jack, different types of wingers, but Shorty has more pace. Whitten and Sam Hill in the centres, Ollie W on the other wing, Steeno at 10 with Nic White at 9, I'm really happy with that selection as long as we play our game.

They can't score if we don't give them the ball.

Glad to see somebrotation & tthis shows Rob still believes European qualification is possible. Thought Steno may have been given a break but cannot change everyone.
Any news on Olly D. Thought he shoud be back by now?
