Falcons have won the northern group and Saints are second before the final game is played
We have 39 Points and Sarries have 36 points. So we have a semi final place, the actual location to be decided by Sarries game on Monday. Win and we have a home semi v Saints, lose and we have an away semi at Falcons. The rules regarding the semi final and final are different with all manner of calculations coming into play. Falcons seem to have the final advantage in these rules. The answer is clear beat Sarries on monday, then Saints in the semi final and hope Sarries beat Falcons away for a final at SP. I hope that is clear as mud
Full rule on rd.premiershiprugby.com/matchcentre/tables/aviva_a_league.php Good luck

Not sure that this is necessarily so because the rules cited above are on the Aviva site so may relate to last year-although the table is this year's!! On the Premiership site it says that the final "shall be at the highest seeded Finalist Club based on performance during the conference stage" which contradicts what it says on the Aviva site!! If the Prem site is right then I think that we would be top seed as we won one game more than Falcons during the conference rounds, which is cited as the criterion for determining position during the conference rounds??!!

We are going to be a bit short for the Shield game if Rob rests a lot of players for the Saracens game. Could be a lot of academy players in the Shield game.Should be an interesting weekend.

It's an odd one, because Saracens fans are hoping you beat Falcons in the A league semi, as that brings you to North London for the final.

Whereas if you lose we're back in Newcastle for a game 2 days after the Euro final, while some people can stay on, most won't fancy a second trip to Newcastle!

Here's to a good game on Saturday with Storm vs Braves A, then good luck for Falcons vs Braves B!
