Every other ground has white posts, why have they got red ones at Sarries?

Singularly unhelpful as an answer I know, but as a fan I've always assumed that it was to go with our colours we'd gone for red.

Presumably red because black posts would not be conducive to reducing the concussion rates

Red posts were not very helpful when they played at Wembley with the empty red seats as a back drop!

Didn't Stade Francais have pink goal posts when they played at their old ground?

I'm surprised Sarries don't have fifty pound notes stuck on the top of theirs!

On that basis I am guessing that Chiefs goalposts are actually aerials for SW Comms?

Well said, the Sarries baiting is getting very dull, on all boards.

Going back quite a few years, pre-Allianz, Sarries once installed taller posts after a game where a potential game-winning drop-kick against Saints was deemed to have missed - they were convinced it went over so put the taller posts in.

Where you aware that the WRU is due to start using Goal-Post Technology after it was trialed at the Hong Kong 7s.. Yep you read that right.. I said Goal-Post Technology.. Basically its just a set of lights on the goal posts that go green if the ball goes over it.

For what its worth I think this is a massive waste of time and money...

I saw that - but there are no sensors, it depends on someone pressing a button after the assistant refs put their flags up. So just a gimmick.

When I started this post I never thought it would lead to such diverse responses, some of them tongue in cheek but very funny!
I think th red posts must be more difficult to pick up against the crown background whereas white ones stand out more.

I agree, but it's good banter. Made me chuckle
