It's a tough start in the league with Whitehaven visiting. It goes without saying that a win would do everybody a power of good.

Good luck to the lads.

Hoping for a good performance first and maybe the win second but maybe that's overly pessimistic.

It was always going to be a difficult fixture against the team coming down from the Championship.

The lads grabbed two late tries which shows they didn't give up pressing for points.

It's a long trip to Bootham Crescent on Sunday to face York City Knights.

Missed it for England Windies but sounds as positive as a defeat can be.

York next - another tough one, but a chance to put a W in the results column.

Good luck.

The official site hasn't included the Oxford Challenge Cup result yet in the results / fixtures column.

For all you stattos out there flashscores.com has results going back years and is a good reference point / site.

Another close one last weekend but the first win cannot be far away. Regular followers of the South Wales club will be familiar with the position we need to play for the full 80 minutes and don't give the opposition any help.

It's a tough trip to Hunslet next but the local derby with Glos All Golds on Good Friday coulod and should be a cracker.
