Hello, Roger from Oxford here. Can someone confirm the Oxford match timings please? I think it is 15.00 on Sunday but have seen both 15.00 and 17.00 on Saturday listed on various websites.

I'll see those of you I know at Merthyr next weekend, hopefully I'll turn up the for the right date and time.

Hello Roger, Roger here too!

I am pretty happy that it's a 3pm kick off next Sunday 21st May.

If I hear anything to the contrary I'll put it on here - so check just in case!!

Checking the Merthyr RFC website they have it that they are playing away in the Final.

I shall,hopefully,from a safety aspect,be in Toulouse,so couldn't make this game,anyway.

I have huge respect for their coach Tim Rumford.

He stood down on principle,at,then,Gateshead Thunder, when he was assistant and his friend lost his position as head coach.

He has been involved in the Rugrats - coaching toddlers and young children

Took on the Oxford job and compounded all his good work with a fair assessment in todays RLE with a view about Paul Rowley's sides.

Cheers folks. Hopefully we have sorted this quickly enough to stop a couple of Oxford fans who were planning on coming by train on Sunday from wasting money.

See you on Saturday.

I'm glad Jarrad was able to confirm the change so quickly.

Hopefully the BBC and others will update their fixture lists asap.

Jarrad - I'd rather Oxford weren't in good form to be honest.

Hopefully see you Saturday, although I may need to leave before the end.

Good luck all.

Same but if we played like we did against all golds and newcastle we will win.

I'll take this opportunity to wish The Ironmen all the best on Saturday.

I'm sure with their commitment and desire, together with their fitness levels and the home crowd behind them for the 80 mins.they can,and will,do it.

I'm sorry I'll miss it.

It is possible,if we are to belive the full-time professsionals when they play a couple of times over Easter, that the physical efforts, such as Oxford playing in Toronto,do have an effect some weeks later, and not immediately.

It's going to take a full 80 minutes performance from the South Wales side.

Really hope they clinch the first win as a springboard for the mouth-watering games ahead.

18-18 at half time but Oxford pulled away in the second half scoring 20 unanswered points to win the match 38-18.
