It wasn't that Wales were poor, they actually tried hard and never gave up BUT Fiji are one heck of a side.

They could easily trouble one of the big three.

Some superb tries and great handling skills.

Fiji have a very good coach,an absolute gentleman,Mick Potter - although the hyper-critical
St Helens fans don't rate him,despite his efforts during the transition following the

successful era under coach Anderson.

Fiji should be praised for their steady progress despite the other code being so popular.

Should also be noted that probably one of their NRL players has a higher salary than the

entire Welsh squad.

If it is true that more is learned from a defeat than a victory then that,together with

having the benchmark set at that level,then I wouldn't object to watching any of the
Welsh players playing at Parc Steboneath in a West Wales Raiders shirt in 2018.

Noticeable that their spine had NRL experience and the Welsh side had League 1 and

Championship.
