Historic Home Game v Doncaster

This Sunday,4th March 2018,sees the historic home game at Stebonheath Park.Llanelli.

when West Wales Raiders host Doncaster in the first League 1 game for West Wales Raiders.

It is an opportunity to make the history/record books in what will hopefully be a wonderful
future for the club.

The opposition have a dual registration with the current Ladbrokes Challenge Cup winners,

Hull FC who retained the trophy in 2017 having lifted the cup the previous year.

High scoring Doncaster won their opening League 1 game v Coventry Bears due mainly to
the record points score of Hakim Miloudi,a French half back/full back, recently signed by Hull FC.

They continued to score a large number of points in the LCC game against community club,Myton, after the visitors had 2 players injured during the game.

Those who witnessed the game at Bradford would have seen our right side having a huge amount of work. This may have been beneficial as it seems the Doncaster left side is reasonably strong - Doncaster Player Speaks

How will Doncaster fare on their travels? Now that West Wales Raiders have their players returned from the Commonwealth Tournament, and despite the injuries and illness have the most players available for a long time, can they make the most of the home advantage in this historic, inaugural,Stebonheath Park opener?

The West Wales Raiders deserve a good turnout and the players definitely deserve a home crowd behind them for the full 80 minutes.

Let's make it an occasion to savour.

** Let us hope Rogero gets a good return on his investment ** ****Gulp!****

It's blooming difficult finding a bookie offering odds for Championship 1 matches...

Any thoughts out there?

It seems Doncaster get off to slow starts, despite their wins.

Hopefully we get off to a good start and maintain that level of performance for 80 minutes.

Doncaster, despite the snow in south Yorkshire causing the postponement of the first Shefffield fixture scheduled for their all-weather 3g pitch, are travelling on the day of the game.

The weather in Cardiff is truly awful. It must be bad down Stebonheath way?

It seems the historic home game at Stebonheath Park is to be deferred CI?

You will have to forgive my lack of hyperbole as for those of us that followed the team through the historic home game at Neath, the historic game at Maesteg, the historic game at Caerphilly, the historic game at Mountain Ash - need I go on - this seems just one more reboot to some.

jd - you are right but the optimism continues within the RL community! If we didn't have adversity to face we'd look for some...

You missed Merthyr off the list!

We are still unbeaten in the league too.
