only other one has signed is Morgan Rowlands heís a young hooker from Rhondda Outlaws. And Jack OíBrien signed and then went back to Australia due to family issues and wonít be returning. We may sign players as season goes on but the squad above are the guys who have been in training from start.

Two out and two in.

From the official club website statement in "..."

Two out;

"The West Wales Raiders are disappointed to announce that two of our players have requested a release from their contracts with the club for season 2019. Ron Palumbo and Robert Tuliatu both approached the club this week and will be released immediately following discussions with Head Coach Kim Williams."

Two in;

"Morgan Evans returns after completing his University commitments..."

"The second signing is Gioele Celerino, a hard-working 2ndrower who has played 16 Tests for Italy and was a part of their World Cup squads in 2013 and 2017..."

List updated.

Well clearly these two players at least Jarrad.

Itís another challenge the club will face being beyond even Swansea for young overseas players/heartland players.

Good to have Morgan Evans back.

Reading between the lines of Kimís comments, I think thereís a lot to this.

He seems disappointed, annoyed but also a bit relieved to move on.

Hopefully Jarrad, but they told the club one thing and then sign for Skolars. They may well return to Oz in the coming months but for now they play and reside in or around Englandís capital.

Itís a common theme for many young players from Down Under that 5hey would rather be in the smoke rather than the Styx specially when they are lower end semi pro level and a lifestyle is more important than football.

Disappointed for Kim as obviously he had faith in them when they signed and that hasnít been repaid.

I'll just jump in here,before going onto the next thread about the performance,yesterday.

I'm glad to see both go.

The hard working,disciplined Welsh lads,giving their all for this club,will be far better off without them.

Without going into specifics,or wondering why they never gave 80 minutes performances despite Tuliatu being awarded MoM at the last home game,there 2 incidents which lost it with me.

Firstly,at Newcastle Thunder,late in the game,match well-lost,Ash Bateman,the captain,off the field injured,Palumbo gets involved with a Thunder player,or two,and Sam Herron,sensibly,ushers Palumbo away.Palumbo pushes Sam Herron and shows complete disregard for the acting captain.

Tuliatu,is yellow carded at Hunslet.As he leaves the field he has a massive grin on his face and makes a hand-gesture which probably would have inflamed the home support - and was also in full view of the camera position at that stadium.

Terrible examples to give to younger players who were given their all for the cause on the pitch,and occurred late in the game when the result was already known.

Neither is indispensable and both easily replaced.The 2 announced signing are,and will be,far superior.

As I havenít seen any games I canít comment on either. Players from overseas can be hit and miss - Kim obviously will be disappointed with both. From what Iíve heard Tyler Hunt is a different kettle of fish from what you say about these two.

What is really needed is genuine commitment on these players parts. Itís a difficult thing to attain....

It seems Mickael Sabour has left the country and Chris Vitalini will remain injured and then be involved in coaching for a tournament,so will NOT be playing for the remainder of this campaign.

I am amazed at how many players have been signed since the new coach arrived and have just left, walked away, emigrated or retired and we are only in June.

Humour is the best medicine BUT...

Thanks for clarifying Jarrad

It is facts like who played, who played, who came on for who that would make good reference on the website / facebook etc.

RL centrally has never been good at record keeping compared to cricket and football.

This fans forum at least does it's bit!!

Apologies to one,and all.

I was reliably informed Mickael had left his abode and flown to a foreign destination.

Perhaps it was just a holiday during the blank weekend.My error.

Cheers,Jarrad.
