The Longest Losing Run in RL in all matches is 61 - Runcorn Highfield from January 1989 to February 1991. The run consisted of 55 Division Two, 2 RL Challenge Cup-ties, 2 Regal Trophy, and 2 Lancashire Cup-ties.

WWR currently stand on 47 consecutive defeats and there are only six matches left. Hopefully it will NEVER happen!

In sport nobody (football, cricket, rugby union, rugby league) keeps "records" which include pre season fiendlies! If that was the case we'd be including kick around matches in the gym...

Professional sport is built upon results and statistics, which is why so many people love discussing the highest, longest, fastest and shortest.
