Looks like Kilburn are hosting a full afternoon and evening. 3 games and Karaoke.

As to transport, you can get the 65 from outside ODP to Ealing Broadway station then tube to Willesden Green, by catching the Central line from Platforms 5 or 6 to Bond Street; (change to Northbound Central line) & then bus 260 to Anson Road, where Kilburn Rugby is located. An alternative is to take a GREAT WESTERN train from Platform 4 to Paddington, onto the southbound Bakerloo line (3 stops) to Baker Street & change to the Jubilee line there.

That's right. Druids ko at 2pm and 1st xv at 3.30pm. Good test for both our sides as the Kilburn teams are in the leagues immediately above.

Those travelling by road might need to allow extra time as Staples Corner flyover is shut all weekend which will make local roads busier than usual.

Just a couple of points for those travelling on Saturday.

By tube, when you get to Bond Street you need the northbound Jubilee line and go to Dollis Hill. Come down the stairs from the platform and turn right. You can then either walk for about 10 mins or get a 226 bus going towards Golders Green for two stops. If feeling fit go down Hamilton Road straight opposite the station and turn right at the end. Use the second entrance to the park and you are there. Sorry there are no pubs anywhere near.

If driving round from the west come off the North Circular at the Neasden exit A4088 and go south towards Willesden. Turn left at the lights at the top of the hill, just past the petrol station. You will come to Dollis Hill station on your right so follow the directions above.

Two trophies up for grabs for tomorrow.

The 2nd XVs are playing in an inaugural tournament and the trophy is in memory of a Kilburn ex-player who unfortunately passed away last year having only just moved home with his young family to New Zealand.

The 1st XVs will play for The Browne's Cup, Kilburn's traditional pre-season match trophy.

It is likely all men's silverware will be presented at the end of the 1st team game so that all players are present.

A very impressive performance against a team that finished a whole league above us last season. Players have raised the level of their game during the summer and there's clearly more to come. If you missed today's match then you've really got to be at Watford next week!
