Thanks to Watford RFC for the following info:

"Our clubhouse (including bar and kitchen) will be open for any supporters from midday. Our bar has recently come under new management who are using this weekend as their ‘official’ opening so we hope to welcome as many Welsh supporters as possible through the doors! The kitchen will have various items for sale including the usual hot dogs, burgers and sandwiches. On top of this we have brand new beer lines / kegs being installed on Thursday so hopefully everything will be to your players and supporters liking! This will include two seasonal real ale handles which we rotate regularly. Unfortunately the new card payment system is not in place yet so the bar and kitchen are cash only.

Any supporters who are getting public transport, we are a ten minute walk from Watford Junction which itself is under 20 mins from Euston. Those who are driving, parking ion site is limited but there is a larger car park just over the road from our clubhouse on the other side of the roundabout (apologies if that sounds a bit vague, but it should be clear when they arrive!).

As mentioned, we are using this weekend as an official ‘opening under new management’ so the more the merrier. The bar will be open until late so if anyone fancies staying down for the usual songs etc they would be more than welcome."

And a further message from Watford. Please be as generous as you can for this cause.

"Very much looking forward to hosting you all tomorrow. I did notice on
your Twitter feed that you were promoting the game as free entry (all
our games are!). One of our players seriously injured his knee last
week – being self employed, he is unable to work or earn at the
moment. Any money which your supporters may have expected to pay on
the day, if they could instead consider donating to our injured
players fund (large bottle on the bar) I know he (and indeed all at
Watford) would be extremely grateful. We are aiming to raise enough to
cover his rent for the time he is laid up. If you could publicise this
to your travelling fans I would appreciate it.

Of course all donations are entirely at the individuals discretion,
but any amount will be a help!"

Not having a go, but I think you will find that a LW Supporter has posted this on Twitter and not the Club, maybe he felt that both Clubs have not really advertised the game? and was trying to drum up more of a crowd, bigger crowd, more money hopefully raisied for an injured player, by posting the game was free?

Final score: Watford 5 LW 14. Apparently Cai came off the bench late on, all sourced from LW twitter. Good result boys, now to prepare for Staines next week @ ODP

Good test for LW 1sts and a great turnout of LW supporters .

Two try's and conversions by our fly half (Lloyd Davies) whose kicking from defence relieved a lot of pressure later on in the game.

You could see why Watford we're promoted..... a heavyweight pack and v effective pick and drive which at times pushed us back 60/70 M. However even with 14 men the LW defence held and great kicking out of defence by our fly half and penetrating running from our full back Jonathan Shankland

Cai came on in the last 10 mins and gave their loose head something to think about ! Gave some relief to our pack that stuck at it all match under a lot of pressure from the extra Watford Kg's.

One of their players spoke to us afterward and said they used their pack and played their v effective pick and go.... but they couldn't live with the pace of the LW backs when they got the ball. .... great running rugby .

Hope Dylan Pugh is ok after a try saving tackle.

More of the same from Staines probably - they have a very strong pack and from the pre-season game some very big backs. LW fitness and speed will be the key as only three subs allowed at this level.

The outside half is Lloyd Davies, very good front foot player.
