Eng v wales Weekend at ODP
13 February, 2018 14:42
Well that was a blast! Thanks to all the volunteers who helped run a great weekend of activities and rugby at Old Deer Park. Special thanks to the Supporters Club, the Women's rugby team who helped out on the day and especially our Chairman who worked so hard to make it all a success.

On the field there was mixed fortunes for the three London Welsh teams playing (lost 2 from 3), but the results were secondary and it was great to see ex-club players, mixed ability players, not to mention the youngsters in the Griffins side enjoying the rugby despite the weather.

Results:

LW Club/Mixed XV v Llanelli Warriors Rfc 38 - 53

LW Griffins (development side) play Welsh Academicals Rfc 6 - 56

LW Select XV v Welsh Charitables Vets 52-41

The club would like to thank all the players who played for all sides, and would love to invite the Welsh Charitables, Welsh Accies and the Llanelli Warriors back to Old Deer Park in the near future.

Back to league action this weekend for the men and women. Let's keep up the winning habit.
