Huge game for our women's team who have worked so hard this year to increase playing strength, and have contributed massively to the club.

Please support if you can.

Ellingham & Ringwood Ladies are undefeated in the their league so this is going to be a tough test.

After finishing top of their own league it was one game too far for our women's side, I believe the final score was 41 - 32 (NLD can confirm final score).

Well done to the women's team on a fantastic season, as club we need to build on this over the summer and keep supporting them to develop coaching and player pathway for Women's rugby at London Welsh.

It was a very enjoyable game to watch despite the result.
Was impressed by the tempo and workrate of both teams . But the dominant Welsh pack and their pick and drive was not enough to match the skills and pace of the Ringwood backs .

The score line was tempered by the Welsh fullback whose gas hunted down at least five or six breakaway try attempts , brilliant to watch .

A point of discussion amongst us after the the match was the lack of tactical kicking by both teams. There was vast amounts of space available and no one covering it . If we could have had a tactical kicker in the backs there was territory to be gained ... this could have been taken advantage of by our sprinting full back !

F/T 47-27 against a fast and skillful E&R team. Some really good play by the LW team and heads never dropped. An enjoyable match to watch. Well done to LWWRFC for topping their league and commiserations that promotion just eluded them this season.
