Bedford will be facing the Cornish Pirates this Sunday not an easy team to face anytime, but throw in a bitter cold winter wind, possible sleet and snow, this could go either way.......best of luck to the intrepid band of followers......wrap up warm and ensure your hip flasks are primed.........for me its a close win for the Blues..........but what do you think?
Tonight’s draw between Nottingham and Jersey means that what ever the result for Bedford on Sunday the Blues will still be in third place in the league.
Thanks for the offer of the swim ‘dotcom’ but I gave up swimming when they did away with bathing huts.........
Pirate in Peace.......I think we may have won the kicking game, but only just. The real reason for our win was that our forwards, lighter and shorter than your big lads, didn't give an inch in set piece and in those try line battles, we won the confrontation.
This was a great, evenly matched game of rugby, probably the best game seen at the Mennaye this season.
Regards to all

Had we breached a solid Pirates defence early in the second half, then it would probably have been our day. Our lineout and scrum were solid, but on a heavy pitch we were trying to get field position from our kicking, which was poor. Pirates were excellent in playing an up front game, which was close all the way. Can't see many teams coming away with anything at the Mennaye.
