This block of fixtures will tell us if we'll be top end or mid table. Yorkshire have had a mixed start to the season but we are capable of getting the win.

Bit of a bogey side for us. A win today will be excellent. Is it ont wireless? See what I did there?

Listened to the latter periods of the game, it sounded a gutsy performance by Bedford, with YC being given two yellows in the final push which ended in a try for us.......but alas but no conversion......which would have given us a well deserved draw..........funny game rugby.

According to the BBC results we are fifth in the table above YC

Thinking back to last year......the boys in blue are doing ok and deserve our congratulations......

Compo, nail biting to the end. Shame about the conversion but we get 2pts, sit 5th with 3 of us on 22 points. Leeds have Bristol and Ealing in the next few rounds, Apparently the 2nd to last try of ours is worth a watch following a double lift in the lineout and some good work in the middle and out wide. Massive improvement on last season. I’m sure the boys will have a good night

Yes good performance by the boys. The ball hit the inside of the upright and could have gone either way. The double lift was a real novelty, great to watch. YC reverted to type and rolling mauled 5 tries, aided and abetted by some poor refereeing. The weirdest decision was a penalty against us due to a (I assume) delayed put in by Jordan. The thing was that YC were pushing (2-3 metres) us back early and there was no way he could have put the ball in! The scrum was not at all stable. Anyway, we had them cold in open play and (apart from the dreaded RM) matched them up front. This is a good Blues team this season. Good to see Will Hooley back, with two fit at 10 gives us good cover. Big shout for Harry Sheppard, he can take a breather for a bit.

Blue Fox highlights one of our weak points.....the rolling maul, we don’t seem to have a defence to this move.......but I do remember a rather good discussion on this forum on how to defend it........do you remember it.......and has anyone got further thoughts?
