Team for Saturdayís game against Doncaster is up see link below

Injuries have played their part in team selection, and the bookies make Doncaster slight favourites, but the layers got it wrong last week I think we will see a result for the Blues, but perhaps no five pointer......COYB!

What do you think?

Donnie twit feed made it a yawn a minute scrum, penalty, kick to the corner, mail Doncaster performance which we often succumb too. Well done Blues. 2 hard earned and deserved points.

Doncaster exploited their dubious scrum habits, which the ref did not pick up. We took the match to them in the second half and Alex Rae steadied the forwards when he came on. Bit of a worry that Deano has a bad hand injury, resulting in Jordy on the wing, where he scored. At the end the scenario was as at YC, except this time Will Hooley kicked it over to complete a fine kicking display. Overall good result, but concerned that our wings have been severely depleted by injury, with ECH, HP and now (it appears) Deano also.

The BBC still have got the wrong points for us correct table below....

A win for Nottingham tomorrow against Ealing would be handy.......it looks as if Rotherham are all but given by the comments on Rolling Maul.....

Here is to a quick recovery to the boys in Blue.......next Fridays match under the lights will be the hardest game of the season to predict for me.....

Very good game. My father only watches on rare occasions but he commented within 10 mins how much sharper and faster we look this season.
Williams and Edgson have been quality additions up front. Those two and WCS finally punching his weight have made a huge difference. As always the backs looked dangerous. Hooley is quality and Sheppard is also a good player. Both a step up on Sharp, in my opinion. Booj is also on top form this season.
As for the match itself, other than 20 mins after halftime I thought we were superb. A draw was probably a fair result. After moving oop north four years ago I mustíve watched us play Leeds and Doncaster ten times and this is the first season weíve gone home with anything other than our tail between our legs. Iíll even accept losing a nearby (not that anything is really nearby when you live in North Yorkshire) match that is Rotherham if we continue to be competitive against the other two yorkshire teams.
As for the earlier reference to Doncaster cheating, Iíve been @#$%& off with their blocking in midfield for four years now but this year was a step up. It wasnít the usual case of them running a direct line in front of the ball carrier, which was bad enough, but their blockers are now feeling confident enough to move off their running line to block knowing theyíll get away with it.
Iím looking forward to watching online next week. It promises to be a great season.

Yes dead right MB; seen it so many times, the Doncaster backs apply a lesser version of American Football blocking, never seems to get picked up.

With Nottingham beating Ealing today it meant that Nottingham leap frog us into third place because they have the most wins.

The good news we close slightly on Ealing......top four......or top three....what do you think?

I predicted third or fourth at the start of the season I can see no reason to change my mind now. Depending on injuries I do believe third place is within reach. But I must say what a pleasure it is to see a great brand of rugby this season and can only see us getting better as the season goes on. I do fear us losing some of our class players at the end of season.
