The Blues have impressed most supporters so far this season, and the rugby at Goldington Road has been entertaining and enjoyable for those attending. The 4 home Championship games to date have resulted in 3 try bonus point wins plus a try bonus point against Bristol in our only defeat, so 16 points at GR. Our travels have yielded 13 points in 5 games, with Ealing being the only team to deny us any points, giving us 29 points in total (despite what the BBC website says). Compared to our results in the corresponding fixtures last season (substituting London Irish for Bristol) we had amassed 12 points, winning 1 game (beating Titans 17-16) and losing 8,but gaining 7 losing & 1 try bonus point. Should we continue with our current points to game ratio we could finish with 70/71 points and compared to last seasons final league table finish third, (last season YC second with 74, Ealing third with 60). Can we do better?
