Waldron signed for Tigers.A top class abrasive ball carrying no 8 from Aukland would have been great to have him at Kingston Park. How many back row forwards do the Tigers want? With their income I suppose only the salary cap is the limit (perhaps)

Good signing.

We seem to have a lot of back row forwards but lose Brett Deacon to Glos this summer and expect to have Croft, Moody and Crane to the EPS. And Crane is the only out and out 8 we have so I think it helps balance the back row options nicely.

The back row might be balanced but are the books?

Aaah now there's a question! We definitely lose Mauger as well as B Deacon and J Murphy so if the Tank costs anywhere near those three combined I will regard it as a poor deal (and Moody's rumoured to be off to France)!
