Oh dear, looks like it might come down to 'number of wins' - Oh dear..

It just underlines that the Falcons will have to save themselves through winning, not relying on another team being even worse. Although it makes our league position worse, I am pleased Wasps did not gain through 'Pizzagate'.

Squeaky bum time as Fergie would say.

We are not allowed to think "the unthinkable" as per the possible refunds on season tickets. I only wish someone at the club had a plan to avoid relegation - some rallying call of targeted wins, and admission of the problem, rather than the "looking up the table" routine, which has been a spectacular failure so far.

Next week Sale at Irish, Leeds at Gloucester and Worcester at home to Leicester. Big opportunity to get a head start if we can beat Saracens then Gloucester. Big if too.

Though it really hurts to admit it, my money would be on Falcons to go down now.

We are in the toilet, I simply cannot see us winning another game this season.

I can see Wuss getting more points before the end of the season, not so easy to see where Falcons will get any points unless they sort themselves out pretty damned quickly.

Where do you think Falcons are going to get points Steve?

I reckon we'll get points in the Sarries , Gloucester , Sale and Wasps games. Quins arent great at the mo but we never do well there and on the back of a hard week we'll be lucky to get a BP and I cant see us beating Leicester this time.

DG, if the Falcons go down i will let you off your £100 donation to charity or i will pay it, if they stay up it is increased to £200. The charity will be the Matt Hampson Fund., Do we have a deal

I don't bet Birdie and I choose where I donate money, not you.

Sadly for you I've just donated £50 to this Sport Aid wotsit, so you're a tad late with your request.

my word what alot of whinging!

whether the falcons are relegated or not I'll watch them and more importantly at least the end of the season will be exciting and that is what I'm interested in.

I HATE a boring mid table finish to the league I like the adrenalin rush of watching matches that really matter and this is the current situation we have smiling smiley

long live the roller coastersmiling smiley

(I'll think we'll stay up)

if we are relegated the falcons will still be going and we'll still watch rugby every week, hell we may even win some matches!!

and that's what fans do, they follow their club or if they are not fans of the club they like watching rugby, either way next season we'll all be happy!

...Well some of us follow the falcons and some of us never go to mathces and just moan and moan and moan.....

.....have you ever thought of meditation DGNTR?

maybe with your chakras in line you'll loosen up...you may even smilewinking smiley

I would be quite happy with mid table right now, mid table sounds safe, comfortable, maintains the status quo.

There are different types of supporter, we all have our own strange mix of views & emotions, and as a result we will all make our own decisions. That doesn't make any individual supporter any better or worse than another, we are just different.

I will be renewing my season ticket, and if the worst comes to the worst then I will support the club back up to the premiership after a year in the wilderness. I have a map of Bedford, and I am not kidding. I sincerely hope that I do not have to use it but if I do then so be it.

Whatever happens over the next 12 months, it certainly won't be boring. I will join you in a drink to the roller coaster ride Damocles.
