How do you get this?
I'm a ST holder in the East stand who turns up sometimes as much as 2 hours before home games ko and I've never seen anyone trying to promote this offering. I don't recall seeing a mention of it in my ST bumph ( but I was away when it arrived and may have chucked things out with the plethora of mail delivered in my absence )
I know I should and probably will talk to the Club direct but I m a bit surprised that nobody's encouraging me to use it
Ditto programmes Ever tried to get one after ko?
Oh and what was the reason why there aren't beer sellers going round the stands ?(a la Sale when they were at their previous base) I did notice there were kids flogging pizzas at the last non American home game

They had people selling at entrance, around ground and also they have them in the main shop in the East stand.

Hi, radios are available from club shop and programme sellers, £10 and it covers the whole prem season at all prem grounds.

There's a web story and social media posts scheduled for later today promoting them.

They've gone down very well so far, I'm told.

I’ve got one and got it from a seller outside the ground before the game

The only feedback I have is that they need turned up - Wayne Barnes was a little bit quiet at the last game.

The ref link didn't work in Philadelphia :-(

It was good to have for the Worcester game - helped to reinforce my appreciation of Wayne Barnes' abilities as a ref.
I'm not sure that a ref link would have achieved the same for JP Doyle in Philly :-)

I don,t need one of these as i have a guy who stands behind me from Yorkshire who gives a running commentary on the referees performance and if his decisions are correct or not........

If he’s in the south stand nearer to the west stand then he is rather loud and often very wrong as well as being a pita with it.

Used mine for the first time last night. Interesting to hear the ref's exchanges with Irish players who were getting on his wick with their reaction to his decisions. By the way, the device also has an FM function so you can listen to radio. A decent bit of kit for a tenner.

A couple of us on the East side got no reception until half way through the first half
Was that the case for you dick?

Hi, we did have some technical issues early on which the engineer was able to solve. Apologies for the downtime and thanks for your understanding.

I used one for the second half last night and was fairly surreal. Suddenly you can hear everything the ref can hear. Have fantastic insight into the game. The weirdest part was when I shouted ‘offside’ and the ref seemed to respond directly to me with ‘its open play’.

Was great to be able to hear the chat with the tmo when tried were being reviewed.

Well done to the club for bringing this in

Agreed
It is excellent
Was it something the Club introduced or was it Premiership Rugby?
Whoever, it was a great idea -especially the fact that you can use it all season long AND at other Prem games

Re: Ref Link
markismith50 30 September, 2017 20:13
Premiership Rugby floated the idea and the clubs bought into it.
