Kurdi might not be Bruce Craig when it comes to funding the side, however he puts in more than enough. Personally I feel the Falcons receive balanced funding from their owner with a long term desire to move towards being self sustaining. That's all any fan can reasonably ask for.

Otherwise you end up with the situation we had when Sir John Hall pulled out. Bath are a better supported side so should not suffer the same way if Craig left but you can bet it would still hurt.

Good point made Smithy re the club living within their means. In the past when we signed the likes of Hayman/Burke, was this Dave Thompson's money or money borrowed??

The impression I get is that the majority of fans prefer the approach the club is taking presently.

We are still subsidised by Uncle Semore as Smithy says but it's overwhelmingly sensible to be moving towards being profitable and sustainable. Mind, if one of us wins the lottery and fancies investing so Richie McCaw can end his career in our black shirt, I wouldn't complain!
