New season prospects

I agree fully with the general excitement and anticipation brewing for the Falcons 17-18 season. In a kind of a sit on the fence type of way it's very difficult to predict how we're going to fare. One thing is for sure we're making progress on the pitch but so are the other premiership teams. The standard in the league gets better and better so finding a win will be as tough as ever...

To improve on last year would be fantastic, top 6 even 5th could be possible but I think so too could be a slight fall in league position. What if Mermoz & Flood are slightly off and aren't an improvement on the squad? Equally they could be fantastic and along with some of the other signings, the quality injection we want? Our squad is certainly big, in fact its huge. There's lots of talent there, can a number of players step up to produce international class performances which will lift the team up the table.

One thing's for sure, I'm looking forward to finding out as well as backing Deano & team to get us going. Roll on 1st September
