Apparently Proposed North Stand will have...
- New changing facilities for players and officials.
-1500 seats plus standing area. All roofed.
- New car park on existing North training pitch, 791 spaces. Existing overflow car park will become new all weather training pitch with change facilities and accomodation.
- Drainage to pitch west of stadium.
- New fanzone plaza at east stand.
- Creation of taxi and coach drop off areas.
Huge financial investment there. Life at the Falcons just gets better and better!

As I understand and have been told this is what Philadelphia has paid for

Could we fill it though? Crowds are on the up but when was the last sell out?

Have the plans included any proper cycle racks? Hoping to get up sometime this back end and the bike is my preferred method of transport to such events!

I would have thought they would be trying to move the people out of the east side wings and into a proper stand where they can see properly

I'm
Guessing the investment is probably a shrewd move as better facilities will make the falcons a more desireable venue for hosting tournaments, cup matches or even potential concerts (god forbid).

Speaking as an East Stand regular I'd not be happy at all to be moved to the Sherpa Tensing (North) Stand. A lot of this is to do with eyesight- The East Stand "wing" is much closer to the on field action and you get the option to follow play up and down the touch line

Am I missing something here? If I understand correctly, the plastic pots are rigid complete with handle and presumably can be used again, so for those wanting another pint they just get it refilled, after the game take it home and bring it back again the next match and so on. If people want to drink beer at games, I do not but have do not see a problem with those that do, a pot costing a £1 spread over the season is peanuts.
