As mentioned elsewhere, the Supporters Club will be holding a raffle at KP on Saturday night, all proceeds to Doddies charity. Doddie is such a well-loved man at KP so the Supporters Club will be doing quite a few things in his honour this season. The prizes are a shirt, but not any old shirt, it is a special from many moons ago, if I remember right Phil Dowson's shirt so a real piece of history. Also the club have donated a bang up to date signed ball. Steve & I will be selling raffle tickets & the draw will be at half time, so please do what you can for a good cause.

Thank you.

Trust me, you don't want me to strip, not even for 15p.

Dowson's shirt? Along with Dickson, one of the ex-players not to have endeared himself amongst Falcons fans. Would be nice to have one of Wilkinson or Burke's shirt up for auction. Bet that would generate a lot of interest amongst Falcons fans far and wide.

When I met him in the west stand bar after one game he was more than good. He even took my leg pulling in good heart.

I asked if he thought he was the slowest openside in the Prem - whilst giggling - and he just giggled and said it was prob accurate.

Next week he was selected for England at opneside.

The most high profile fall out with us had to be Tom May when he scored for Northampton and threw the ball at the south stand in anger.

I met him in the lounge after that game and he was livid.

As a pro Tom May behaved below par. Obviously he got some slating during the game, but as a pro it should have just motivated him and fair enough if he scored a try.
Still, I think he's reconciled as he's been visible at KP on a few occasions.
And still think something like this Wilkinson's, Burke's or Hayman's shirt would draw more attention to this good cause.I'd happily have Jon Golding's over all those mentioned above.

I disagree, I would argue that Tom May was an outstanding professional for the club, he stood by us during very difficult times. When he returned, he was the target of unwarranted and over the top abuse. His reaction was no more that you should expect from a competitive professional sportsman. Our fans reactions were shameful, no sign of appreciation.

But the point I made still stands, that he's reconciled, regardless of the rights and wrongs of what went on in that game. In the end that's what matters.

What matters is that the raffle raised a fabulous 305 for Doddie's charitable efforts. A huge thank you to everyone from all at the Supporters Club.
