Two years ago being beaten at KP wouldn't have bothered me at all. We looked downwards, hoping to stay up by being a bit better than the other bottom teams. Yesterday I genuinely thought we should have given Leicester a run for their money. That is in itself a sign of progress.

We carry on, it was just one game.

Arguably the top four teams in the country are Bath, Saracens, Exeter and Leicester. We have beaten one of those and lost against the other three. Moreover , having played them we currently sit on level points with 4th place bath.
We wanted to know how far we have come and I think it's fair to say we are a top 6 club given some favourable results but we, like others struggle against the mega bucks teams

I really did feel like we could beat Leicester before the game yesterday I felt very positive about the game when I arrived at the ground yesterday, but yes it's only one game we can learn from yesterday. smiling smiley

Thanks Monk for helping me recover. We are still not off the pace for a high end finish. Life goes on. And is getting better. Think positive. Be positive.

yesterday was a disappointment because we got beaten

however

we were looking like getting smashed after their first two tries and we fought back to be ny on level at half time

then at the start of the second half we could so easily have scored and made a run for a win.

However, I still stand by my thoughts yesterday.

Our two wingers had a poor game in terms of catching the ball and tackling the oppo / positional play and ultimately that was the difference between a win and what happened

It takes me back to the past and how far we have come. Does any one remember the game in the past when Rory Clegg was having a nightmare at fly half and Tom May came on then became our 10 the rest of the season.

I was at the Leicester game and it was disappointing but our next game i have faith Deano won't let that happen again. Me and my mate chatted with Micky Ward post match and he said the players were devastated after the match they had let the fans down.

I had deleted those memories. Grim days indeed.

I wish we could find a quick fix for the scrum, it's been awful(again) this season.
