Good news for those who can't get to KP on Saturday. There is no footie to hog the wireless set so you can follow the game in more ways than you could shake a stick at:

BBC Newcastle will bring you full match commentary of Newcastle Falcons v Cardiff Blues from Kingston Park on Saturday 11th November 2017. Ian Smith will be joined by former international referee John Pearson and Man of Northern, Dean Gray. Kick off is at 5.00 pm with the guys on air from 4.55 pm.

The game will be broadcast on All frequencies, 95.4 FM, 1458AM, DAB, Freeview Channel 719 and on-line via the BBC Rugby website. The link will be [www.bbc.co.uk] and just follow the links to the BBC Newcastle commentary.

Enjoy.

Probably also worth mentioning that the Ref link radio's are for premiership games only

and then not even for a full one of them

Although the fan radios can also be used as FM radios, so in theory you could access the commentary option via 95.4fm.

We only advertise them as Premiership radios as not many Falcons matches are on FM due to football.

And yes, we're aware of issues with the radios at recent Prem games, and are investigating the problem. We appreciate your patience with this.

Or instead of Listening we can all go to the game and support them....(Sm42)

And watch the England game before hand!(They've named a decent team) (Sm1)

Absolutely. The England game is on in the Tap & Tackle at 3pm. At 3.30pm the turnstiles and other stadium bars will open for those who wish to watch the rest of the game in the other bars.

We have a curtain raiser at 1.30pm between Infantry North and Artillery North, entry via the Tap & Tackle with a valid Falcons match ticket.
