Tigers interested in signing the Chopper (Santiago Socino) according to TRP as Thacker replacement.

I hope he stays and fights for his place. He should be vying for starting hooker with Cooper in my opinion.

It must be that time of the year again when TRP digs out their top reporters Phil Space, Phillipa Page, and May Kitup.

Can't see this one being right, Can't see Lawson playing on another season which will make Cooper and socino fight it out for the starting hooker spot

Once the signing season is under way they obviously get some right, but at this time of year they just regurgitate whispers from agents, most of which are intended to strengthen their case with contact renewals rather than to indicate where players may actually end up. They shouldn't print any of them without some sort of additional corroboration, but to be fair, at this time of year there is not a lot else for them to write.

Feel free to set up a running total of how many Rugby Paper rumours about us materialise into concrete moves by the start of next season.

I suspect the final ‘strike rate’ could be revealing.

Best advice for single-source agent-fed stories is to regard them as a form of entertainment rather than anything to get upset or excited by.

If you throw that much mud some will stick, but lots won’t.

Is Ben Sowery totally out of the equation now?

Thing is - you only have to look at how much Mcguigan has played despite being only behind Youngs to realise that you would never see a game at Tigers.

In essence it will be a case of possibly winning a medal that you have not really contributed to, possibly being better paid at a bigger club and getting splinters if you are lucky.

All depends what you want as a player. Know what I'd choose.

That's fine. We wouldn't mind having both brothers tbh!

Can't see either moving south though.
