He gave Saints a good run under his guidance but there have been rumblings about his position since last season. It probably is time for him to move over & let in some fresh ideas.

It would be nice to get his name right, Jim Mallinder.

Not surprised to be honest, but surprised Dorian West hasn't followed him out of the door also. smiling smiley

I do hope we don't chase Dorian West.

I've heard that Tom Wood has reluctantly offered to take on the role of Head Coach himself.
"We'll cross that bridge if we come to it. If I was asked to do it for the benefit of the team, I'd consider it very carefully and probably front up."

Rumours are West to us at the end of the season. I'm ok with this, he knows what to do with a pack and may help fix the scrum.

On Mallinder, he had to go. Saints have been playing the same old rolling maul tactics for the last 3 years now to slipping results. They have limited play outside dominating the pack, something had to give.

I'll be interested to see if his little boy stays at Stains

Signed a 4 year deal recently as far as I'm aware.

Saints forwards are poor and the Saints gameplay hasn't evolved in years and there is no way on earth Walder and West would have the same views on how to play the game. Wouldn't want West anywhere near KP.

I'm not surprised Deano is linked but because of the whole blood gate incident I cannot see that a fashionable club like Northampton would want to be connected to him. Our gain, their loss.
