A game fixtures

Just checked the next two A game fixtures, and it appears these won't be on Monday nights, as usual. A look at the official website seems to suggest that:

The A game against Worcester is at 5pm on Sunday 25 March.

The A game against Leicester is at 3pm on Sunday 1 April (Easter Sunday). I guess, if that's at KP, the Challenge Cup QF won't be that day, too.

Hopefully this might prevent someone turning up on the Monday to be disappointed (as I might well have done!)

There was mention of moving these around the region (eg Darlington). Will these be at KP? Will we be told before the day of the match where it will actually be happening?!

Incidentally, the First Team fixture list on the website desperately needs updating - 'The Big One' is still 'tbc' for date and time, apparently...!

A positive is the appearance of the credit-card-sized fixture lists in the club shop, but the 'home games on one side, away games on the other' format will take quite a bit of getting used to!

ScotsFalcon.

Yes, we are on with updating the first team fixtures, the request has gone through to the web designer and we're aware it's currently incorrect.

As for the A-League being on Easter weekend, if it needs to move to accommodate the first team we will move it.

There have been a few Sunday games in the A-League this season, for example our trip to Worcester was a Sunday, and Leicester was due to be before they postponed it.

The Worcester home game has been moved by an hour to accommodate rugby league, but we will keep you posted as to any future changes.

Cheers
Smithy

Surely the web site has the facility to update such basic content 'in house'..........?

CharlieDog, I won't bore you with the full story but basically it's a feed from Opta which is automated and automatically updates whenever there are fixture changes across all clubs.

The theory of it is great, the practice somewhat different. I share your frustrations with it.
