No Willis? I presume he's away at the end of the season and I'm also presuming Mark Wilson is injured?

On the bench ... Alex Tait preferred to DTH? Or has DTH come back broken... again. Good to see Evan getting stuck in after a busy week with Canada. Great to have Mermoz as a second half option. Itíll be good to see chopper Socino back in the Prem.

Well done captain Young and Ryan Burrows for his start. Go well lads.

Based on our options at scrum time i would be happy with a LBP. Come on Falcons.

Great to see Burrows starting and Mermoz on the bench. Still a strong Sarries team, watch out for Sione Vailanu for Sarries when he comes on a big explosive ball carrier. smiling smiley

Ah yes, just spotted that Smithy. A crunch battle with Brazil. Fair enough.

Despite internationals away a really strong Saracens team , itís going to be difficult getting anything out of this fixture.

Newcastle have more injuries than expected and Saracens have had more players returned from injury than expected.

My initial optimism isn't quite there anymore. We'd do well getting any type of bonus point.

Only positives are Burrows starting and Mermoz on the bench.

Going to be a hard day at the coalface, but these boys are up for it.
Those backs will give Saracens or any Premiership team lots of headaches, that is if they get quick enough ball.
IMO our best 3 backline forwards are out but pleased to see Ryan Burrows in the mix.
Hope Marks hamstring not too bad and Will is only a week or so away from returning.
Gary comes back from England with a neck problem.Oh dear. Hmmm.

Go boys, they might just underestimate you!

Hope Penny goes well at 13. Havenít seen anything of him since last season and it would be good to see another local 13 to be starting in the prem.

Missing a pilfer in the back row like, W mind you there are some brilliant carrying options in that back row.

Hope the boys manage to take their chances and get something from it!

Expectations lowered a bit but, if weíre serious about occupying slits 4-7/8 in the prem we have to go into this feeling we can compete. COF

I love how Hoggy is back in the Prem.

Heís been a great player for us and the recent run of games just show he still has it.

Thereís nothing better than a break from the back of a scrum whereby he ghosts into a space that was only fleetingly there and no other 8ís would have seen.

Heís a class act and we have a big squad of quality players who can take that mob on.

Mother in law lives in Barnet so out of the kindness of my heart I have offered to drive the wife to see her.

So I just happen to be free in Barnet for a few hours.

If there a section the brave Falcon supporters are sitting?

Please let me know asap!

I have just seen the most pathetic penalty try given against the Falcons today
Sinoti yellow carded as well
Wait until you see this. Unbelievable

Williams had overshot it. He was never going to collect it and touch it down.

I've nearly fallen asleep watching the first half.

It was a joke wasnít it apparently contact was made by Sinoti to stop a Williams scoring the TMO asked the young ref 4 times if he was sure of his decision.

Poor game, poor weather, poor performance, additional injuries.

A few positives. Lockwood made a good impact and our scrum improved with him. Mermoz looked good when he came on. That's about it.

Hi, from a Sarries fan sitting opposite it (in the East Stand) it wasnít a penalty try in my head. It looked like we overran the kick, then had a slightest of slight touches from your guy. Harsh to say the least. There was maybe one at the end to use but again I was to far to tell.

That said I thought you played well in what was a dull/poor game. Best of luck for the rest of the season

I have only seen the penalty try once but looked like Sinoti barely touched him. The Prem highlights don't show much of the game but didn't expect anything from the game.
