Certainly no one else has managed to do so much, with so little (financially). Considering the only other club with our level of income got relegated and we are in the premiership play offs. Has to be Deano!

Who decides on the winner? If there is any influence from the RFU I ll be booking Wensleydale Falcon into Specsavers.

I agree that this should go to Dean Richards because of his careful planning and moulding of Newcastle's squad into real challengers for the title this year. Falcon have been great this year.

I would also say that IF Exeter win the Prem 2 years on the bounce as well as the AW and an a league finalist you couldn't begrudge Rob Baxter the title.

Has to be Dean. Rob Baxter & Mark McCall have carried on from previous years but under Dean Falcons have reached the semi finals of all 4 competitions they have been in this season.

It's good to see another club challenging for top honours without splashing the cash.

McCall and Baxter are obviously worthy winners but it has to be Dean.

He's took the club from a relegation contender (by many a pundit pre-season) to the play offs and 2 semi finals. All this on the 2nd lowest budget in the Prem! It's the nearest we have to Leicester winning the premiership, it's a hell of an achievement.

Echo all the above comments, but our season's not over yet, Deano winning it will be be an absolute no brainer if the Falcons reach the Premiership final.

Deano has already won the Bigus Dickus DoR Of The Year Award. Anything else is a bonus.😀😁😂

Deano is no more worthy of the accolade than the other 2 shortlisted, as all 3 work within the same parameters of the salary cap...('coughs')

Utterly ridiculous really! How can you announce the dor of season before you know who has won the league?

If tge award went automatically to the DOR of the Prem winners, it would betotally devalued. As Steve Black said at a talk-in years ago, winning is not the most important thing. Trying to win is.

Itís awarded then because thatís when the dinner is. If they left it any later most clubs would already be on holiday

I know that...!!! But to award it before you have the full picture of the season is a little silly. Anyway, its not a big issue!
