Not one for the defence coaches, but was a very good show of attacking rugby from both teams. (Prob would enjoy it more as a neutral though)

To be fair if we had showed a little more composure in the last 15 minutes i think we would have won that game.
It was always going to be a tough one on the back of your DOR getting the push this week as there was a point or two to prove and lets be honest Welford Road is a tough place to go.
At 22-0 down i seriously feared for the worst but got to give the boys credit they showed some awesome character to keep in the game!

We should never have got ourselves into that situation though to be honest. The first half defensive effort will be haunting Deano and co, it was very unlike us.

They'll have been massively fired up for it after the last week or so and they're a good side full of talent, we got something out of the game so shows some character.

One encouraging thing is that we were still in with a chance of winning both games with about ten minutes to go.

In spite of defensive lapses and poor performances by some senior players we've got a never say die spirit in a talented squad which will see us right.

Worcester next up at Sixways and for sure the lads will be really fired up for that one.

Bear in mind that it was a very unusual game. Tiggers came out like they were on acid for the first 15 minutes, I don't think anybody would have endured that amount of passion & grit without shipping points. It knackered them pretty quickly mind, and many of them were looking well cooked towards the end of the game, possibly a factor in us nearly clawing it back.

5 tries each in the company of a very fine Welford Road crowd made for a grand day out.
